Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) in Idaho Falls
A gentle, mind-body approach to releasing “stuck” stress patterns, integrated with whole-person chiropractic care.
What is NET?
Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) is a gentle, mind‑body process that helps identify and release “stuck” stress patterns in the nervous system.
Old, unresolved stress can get triggered over and over by current life events. For some people that shows up as pain that won’t resolve, tension that never fully lets go, repeating flares, or emotional reactions that feel bigger than the situation. NET uses manual muscle testing, specific acupressure points, and focused attention to help your body process that stress and return to a more balanced state.
We may also recommend a homeopathic remedy, targeted nutrition, or a chiropractic adjustment to help your body fully resolve the stuck stress pattern.
NET is not talk therapy and it’s not about reliving trauma in detail. It’s a way of working with the body and nervous system to resolve the emotional “charge” that may be linked to physical or emotional symptoms.
How we use NET at Origin Spine and Wellness
At Origin Spine and Wellness, NET is one of the tools we use inside a whole‑person visit.
Every new patient – including those who “just want NET” – starts with the same 60‑minute whole‑person exam.
In that visit we can:
Review your history and goals
Test structural, chemical, and emotional factors
Use NET when it’s appropriate for your case
Address anything else that shows up (adjustment, nutrition, etc.)
This keeps your care flexible and thorough.
If you come in for NET and your body clearly needs structural work or nutritional support too, we can address that in the same framework instead of sending you somewhere else.
After your initial exam, most people either:
Continue with single visits at $125 (approximately 30 minutes), or
Choose a $100 recurring monthly wellness membership, which includes one chiropractic visit per month. NET can be part of those visits when it’s appropriate for your case.
For complex or long-standing issues, we may recommend a short, structured care plan before transitioning into wellness care.
Regardless of your care plan, NET is always available by request during your visit.

NET-specific Frequently Asked Questions
“Can I do NET only?”
You can absolutely come in for NET. In this clinic, NET is delivered inside a full whole‑person visit so we can make sure we’re not missing structural or biochemical factors that may also be driving your symptoms.
“Will I have to get adjusted?”
Not necessarily. We’ll always explain what we recommend and why so that you can make an informed choice.
The new patient exam makes it possible to integrate all aspects of your care as needed. Some visits may focus primarily on NET; others may combine NET with chiropractic or nutrition support if that’s what your body needs. All of those services are available and covered by the cost of your visit.
“Does this replace therapy?”
No. NET is not a replacement for counseling or mental health care. Many people find it complements the work they’re already doing with their therapist or other providers.
“Do you take insurance?”
NET is not a covered service on any commercial insurance policy. In general, we are a private membership association and a cash-based entity with clear, upfront pricing and no insurance billing.
“Is there any research to support NET as a valid clinical intervention?”
Yes! The ONE Research foundation has been diligently researching the effects that NET has on the brain for many years. Here is a study using functional MRI to show differences in the brains of PTSD patients before and after receiving NET.
